Toronto lawyer Kevin Fisher will once again captain the Basman Smith LLP team in the Scotiabank Baycrest Pro-Am hockey tournament this spring.
To date, the event – which allows amateur hockey players the opportunity to play with and against NHL alumni – has raised more than $23 million in support of care and research for Alzheimer’s and related disorders at Baycrest Health Sciences. This year’s pro-am, set to take place May 1-3 at Downsview Park’s Buckingham Arena, marks the fifth time the Basman Smith team has participated in the tournament.
