Richard concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, wrongful dismissal, estates litigation, and personal injury litigation. Richard brings a practical and cost efficient approach to each file and attempts to secure an advantageous settlement for his clients whenever possible. Where settlement has not been possible, Richard has appeared in Ontario Courts at all levels. When in Court, the Judgments Richard has won have been reported in legal reporting services across Ontario and Canada. After practicing with smaller firms, Richard joined Basman Smith in 1990 and was admitted to the partnership in 1992.
